"Las manos de Camarón" 2009Acrylic on canvas, 80x60cmThese are the hands of the extraordinary talented, gipsy flamenco singer Camarón de la Isla, who, like too many other musicians, died before his time. Many spanish gipsies travel to his grave like pilgrims, his effect on flamenco music is undisputed.
"Elvis" 2009
Acrylic on canvas, 70x100 cm
Although it´s not my thing, I did this for a gypsy-festival in my hometown, because the sinti, the german-based gypsies, adore elvis and love his music very much.
"Marvin Gaye" 2008
Acrylic on canvas, 100x70cm
"Madre de dios" 2008

"Django Reinhardt" 2008
Acrylic on canvas, 60x80cm
The legendary Django Reinhardt, a gypsy guitar player, whose unique technique was so revolutionary for the whole jazz world that he is still the main influence for his people, the sinti. For all my homies that are gypsies, he is an icon.
"Christo de las angustias" 2008
Acrylic on canvasboard, 50x70cm
I did that from an old photograph i had, on which you see the head of the wooden statue "Virgen de las angustias" from Cordoba, Spain. This statue was made in the 16th century and displays the wheeping mother of god, in her darkest hour, holding the dead body of christ in her arms. It belongs to an old religious brotherhood, whose members carry this beautiful(but heavy) piece of art through the streets of Cordoba on their shoulders and bare feet on semana santa. Many of my ancestors, uncles and cousins belong to this brotherhood.

AF1-The sneaker legend 2007
Acrylic on canvas, 40x50cm
Some people may think that painting a "shoe" is kinda weird, but let me tell you something: most faces in this world don´t deserve to be portrayed, but this sneaker is the definition of real beauty. I did this piece of work for DJ LUNE, a good friend, who´s a real sneaker-freak
"Killin´ me softly" 2006
Acrylic on canvas, 40x50cm
First time i tried out acrylic paint. Although i messed up the proportions of the face i like it because it´s kinda warm.
This is a painting i did a few years ago, it was my first try on water-colour pencils. Before this i was only doing graffiti and drawing with normal pencils in my sketchbook. After this pic i knew that i wanted to try new materials and techniques again and again.
